If you have been on top of your new product game then you may have seen that there is a new Keto Coffee on the market. VPX, creators of the popular energy drink Bang, have recently released new Keto Coffee. I have actually had a few Bang energy drinks in my day. You know those late nights early mornings. I was always running on caffeine so these incredible tasting 300mg of caffeine energy drinks are one of my go-to caffeine sources in a pinch or when I want a quick pick me up In the mornings or during a workout mainly i drink a few sips before my workout and then I drink the rest over a couple of hours. I’m not going to lie when I am really really tired I can drink a whole can in a few minutes.
Today I will be finally giving you my review on the VPX (creators of bang energy).
First I will give you a little backstory about how I found Bang energy and then my review.
A Little Story
2 years ago I was helping my sister renovate our mom’s house. Normally I would make a cup of iced or hot coffee depending on my mood. My sister her boyfriend and I were at the mall and we went into GNC. I honestly wasn’t going to get anything from GNC but my sister called my name and I went over to her.
She showed me a can and It said Bang Energy. The first flavor I EVER tried was the cotton candy.
I was excited to try it because from the ingredients i did understand (this was pre-school and when I was learning and researching all on my own). I purchased my first can and was excited to try it. The next morning out of habit i made coffee and then I remembered that I had bought the can of Bang Energy. I took it from the fridge and I went upstairs. I put the can on the windowsill and there It sat for 2 hours (yea it was that long) I was priming walls, painting walls, priming doors, and painting doors.
During this entire time, I kept looking at this can. I was intrigued but afraid. The only sources of caffeine I knew Coffee from Starbucks , Homemade Coffee, or Soda. I honestly knew of nothing else during that time. I was priming the ceiling over where the can sat and I was thirsty. I was in the middle of priming and I didn’t want to stop because I had a good rhythm going but I honestly was dying of thirst.
I was so thirsty that my mouth and throat were dry as the Sahara Desert (not being dramatic being honest). I know what you are thinking why didn’t you just drink water? Well, that is easy I didn’t bring water upstairs with me and at this point in time i was kinda lazy to go downstairs to get water then back upstairs was something I didn’t want.
So I opened the can and did what any normal human would do i smelled it first. I was smelling to see does it smell like cotton candy? Yes, it does. The next thing I smelled for was does it smell chemicals? No, it doesn’t. So, the next logical thing was to take my first ever sip of bang.
I remember not being able to drink the whole can I only drank half. The funny thing is that The coffee I was drinking was (still is) a Trenta Cold Brew Black with a Single Shot Of Espresso. That is 424 mgs of caffeine! I DON’T DRINK THAT all the time I’ve toned It back some. But for some reason drinking 300mg of a bang had me all hyped up like I’m ready to party all night lol.
Fast-forward two years later and bang energy has become a weekly staple. I have since tried other “healthier” energy drinks like Alani Nu.
DISCLAIMER: And before any comments come in about is 300mg of caffeine safe? Yes, it is. I would have to drink 31 cans for it to be lethal. Don’t go drinking 30 cans that have been figured out from my weight and such.
Today’s review is for the bang energy keto coffee in the flavor Hazelnut. As for the flavor, there are only one of the three (Heavenly Hazelnut, cookies n’ cream craze, and Mocha Madness) Out of the three Bang Energy coffee options I can honestly say I enjoyed the Hazelnut the most and always stock up when I need to refill my supply. The flavor that comes through on taste in its title with a sweet and consistent mix of peach and mango flavors that don’t leave behind any kind of disappointing aftertaste.
