Foundation for beginners

Foundation- It can be the death of a woman’s makeup look If It doesn’t match It Is also Important for the rest of our makeup look. Think of your face once the foundation Is applied as a blank canvas for the rest of your look.

Foundation can be overwhelming. There a literally hundreds of different foundations. Once you have found your shade the next thing comes is applying your foundation. In this blog, I give you tips on how to apply foundation flawlessly so that way you won’t make the same mistakes I made when I first started wearing foundation.

The first thing you want to do which seems the most obvious Is to make sure you clean your face from any previous makeup. Next, you want to use a moisturizer for your skin. If you have dry skin you would want to use a moisturizer that’s hydrating. If you’re oily a gel-based moisturizer is best and If you’re dry oil-based will be best.

The next step Is applying your foundation. Decide If you want to use a foundation brush or sponge. I’m just going to explain how I apply my foundation. You want to apply enough foundation to your cheeks, chin, nose, and forehead.

If you’re using a sponge/beauty blender damp the beauty blender so the foundation Is easier to apply. When using a brush start at the center of your face and blend out.

Now that your foundation Is blended go over any spots that might need a little bit more coverage unless you are using a full coverage foundation.

The next step would be to apply concealer but I’ll talk about that In the next post.

I hope you find this Informative. If you have any questions, please feel free to comment. Also If you have any suggestions on what I should post next please feel free to let me know.

If you enjoyed this post please keep an eye out for my next post where I talk about applying concealer as a beginner.
